This will be brief ... but when my 9 year old came home from school today, he shared some information with me that had me in stitches! Keep in mind that when he left for school it was only 40 degrees, so he was wearing a sweatshirt hoodie and a jacket. Well, it's now close to 80 degrees. He came flopping into my bedroom (totally dramatic) and said, "It's so hot out there that my belly button is sweating! Seriously, Mom! This is like a heat wave!"
Just a giggle for the day!

P.S. For those who are interested ... I will be having a CT scan this Thursday to determine if I will need to start a new chemotherapy protocol. My numbers are up, as is the pain I have been experiencing in my left hip, leg and knee. Hopefully they will be able to identify a chemo drug that will put a halt to the growth of the tumor in my spine. I'm not liking this walker/wheelchair thing! It puts a cramp in my style! ;-) Love to you all!
