Family

Just a quick post to share our family weekend with ya'll! We had a blast of a time celebrating with our "Harper-sided" loved ones at the annual RHH/EJH Family Reunion at one of the H's country estates, The LLD II. The weather couldn't have been more lovely and the company ...well, it WAS the H's afterall! The kids loved having space to run and play and I cherished the special times spent with my mother's brothers and sisters. I feel her when I am with them.

Joining us this weekend was my youngest daughter's brother, Chase. We always love being with him and want to send a special thanks and "we love you" out to his mother, father and grandmother for sharing him with us.

God has created our family in such a unique way. We have our biological "blood relatives" ... the children who have entered into our family through my heart ... and the special families who have become a part of ours through the miracle of adoption. We also have dear ones who have left this world and await our arrival in heaven. This weekend we celebrated them all!
