Done ... alllllll done!

This Tuesday marked an end to my first (and hopefully last) round of cancer treatment. I will have followup appointments later this month with both of my oncologists to determine my progress and the demise of the c-word that ravaged my body this past year. Although apprehensive, I feel rather positive that my doctors and team of specialists, along with The One, have eliminated the cancer and I'm on my way to many years of happiness ... watching my children grow up and simply enjoying the gift of life God continues to bestow on me each day.

School is getting ready to start ... one week to go! The kids and I will spend this weekend completing their list of "back to school" needs and wants. Next week my nephew, Christopher, will begin his new daily routine of spending the day with Aunt Kathy while Mommy and Daddy go to work. I'm going to teach him all about blogging so he can hang out with me to chat with you all every once in awhile!

So friends, this summer is just about over for all of us mommy and daddy types. Enjoy these last few days with your babies. Love them completely and deeply. They are gifts to us, entrusted to our care by a Creator who loves us completely and deeply. We are blessed.

Until tomorrow,
Kathy
