Today was supposed to be the hottest day of the summer here in St. Louis; however, my little Backyard Gang decided we should spend the day outside. We had a great time playing with our new bubble making machines, swimming in the "puddle" (our little wading pool), eating popsicles from Aunt Kristie and swinging on the swingset. I'm sharing two pictures from this afternoon ... the first is of my crew. They wouldn't stand still for anything, so this is the best it's gonna get. The second picture was taken during one of my youngest daughter's, Alyssa, screaming fits. This time she was mad that when she offered Andre (the most incredible dog in the world ... our sweet 9 year old black lab) a lick of her popsicle he decided he wanted the whole thing. (Yes, of course I gave her a new popsicle! But, only after catching her precious little self on camera first!) She and Andre have made up and are best of friends all over again.
