Quickie Update and a Cute Picture (or 2)

Surgery went well ... especially the sleeping part! I've never been a person that can just go to bed and immediately fall asleep. My brain races and it takes me forever to find a comfortable position. This is why I look forward to surgeries! Yesterday was no different! I had a nice rest while my doc did what needed to be done, then I went home. My next surgery is scheduled for 6 months from now.

After a morning of rest, I took the kids outside for some fresh air. They all decided to go swimming while Mommy sat under the shade of our plum tree. I just wanted to share a picture of Allie's swimming suit. It was one of my big "bargain finds" at Macy's last year, but I couldn't find it when the summer started this year. How cute is it? I had to take a pic of the back too. It's embroidered in gold thread that says "Baby Phat". Kimora Lee (the designer) is a North County native! Anyway, I ended up getting the suit for about 3 dollars on the clearance rack. Nita has a matching suit, but won't pose for a pic.
