Higher Mommy! Jump Higher!

I've always loved being "Mommy" to 5 incredible kids. I'd have it no other way. Well, maybe 6. Anyway, yesterday afternoon I drove Isaac up to Happy Tales Farm for a weekend getaway with our family friends, The Yetters. Allie and Brandon came along for the ride. We had fun munching on pizza and peaches, hanging out in the barn, running around in the fresh air ... you know, all of the kind of stuff you can do on a farm. Before it was time to leave, we packed up in the vans and caravanned down Main Street to another farm where friends of the Yetters live. They were out of town on vacation, so we got to feed their horse, Boo, carrots and apples. Once Boo was taken care of the fun started. TRAMPOLINE TIME! I even got in with Allie and Brandon! My back wasn't ready for the jarring (I still have a fractured L3) but to see the kids enjoying themselves like that made me want to do it too!

We miss Isaac, but he'll be home tomorrow afternoon. This quiet house won't know Peace for very long! Isaac always seems to fill it up with laughter (and trouble!) Until then, Anita, Nathan, Alyssa, Brandon and I will kick back and enjoy this gorgeous Spring weather God has sent! I LOVE SPRING!
