Christopher is home!

Today was a wonderful day! My nephew came home from the hospital. As much as I want to post a picture of him to share with all of you, I am respecting Kristie's wishes. She wanted to be the first person to announce his arrival to friends and family with his photo. Just trust me when I say he is the most precious, loved, gorgeous baby boy I've ever laid eyes on ... well, besides my three little twerps, Nathan, Isaac and Brandon. However, he IS the best nephew in the world ... rosy cheeks, chubby little legs, his momma's looks and his daddy's hands. He was born at 2:05am on April 15th ... a tax baby. He weighed in at 8lbs and a perfect 19 1/2 inches long. I was there when he entered this world.

In the midst of a medical tragedy, God has blessed this family with something so beautiful and full of hope. I plan on living to see my nephew grow up and do grand things. I want to see Kristie learn just how wonderful motherhood is ... and I can't wait to spoil her son rotten ... payback is a ... well, let's just say she has it coming to her after I get my hands on Christopher! I have big plans ... plans that include noisy toys (drums for sure), sugar-laden snacks and afternoons full of mud pies and earthworm races.

As soon as Kristie is able to post her announcement I will copy it to my blog so all may enjoy God's newest creation ... my nephew, Christopher Michael.

Until tomorrow,
Proud Aunt Kathy
