And the Magic Number Is ....

SEVENTEEN! Last week marked 3 months since my last internal radiation treatment for endometrial cancer. It has been a VERY long three months waiting to see how successful the chemotherapy and radiation treatments were. Today I got my CA-125 results back from the doctor and all things are GOOD! Even though 17 is elevated (it was a "2" three months ago) I am still in the "normal" range.

This journey with cancer has been so difficult, but at the same time a blessing. I hate what cancer has taken from me, especially my mother, but I have an appreciation for the gift of time that God has given to me.

Thank you to all of my family and friends who have been supporting my family with your prayers, kind words and deeds. Without you, days like today wouldn't have been possible.

Until Tomorrow,
Kathy
