Today is my baby girl's 4th birthday! She's still a little pipsqueak of a thing, but growing and changing each and every day. Last night at Nita and Isaac's basketball practice she decided to show me just how bright she really is. I tell Allie and Brandon that they have to "stay on the green" (a row of green tiles that separate the viewing area from the basketball court.) I don't want them to get in the way of the coaches and players, nor do I want them to get clobbered by big kids or basketballs. Allie took "stay on the green" to an extreme. As you can see in the picture, she laid down on the floor with her arm extended so she was still touching the green tile. She proceeded to roll down the court, still "touching the green." I couldn't reprimand her for being so smart (aleck), so I took a picture instead. Alyssa is a challenge, but such a joy! I can't wait to watch her grow up ... yet at the same time I'm loving my little monkey-butt!
The second picture was taken this morning at preschool. Allie's class celebrated her birthday and Christmas (well, "winter break") together!
Happy Birthday, my sweet baby girl! Mommy loves you so much!
Love forever and always,
Mommy
