We have been stuck in the house for too long! July was such a beautiful month this year with mild temps and sunny skies, but somehow it seems to have passed us by! The kids and I decided we needed some time away from all things cancer ... so we spent the day at Happy Tales Farm! I've mentioned our good friends, The Yetters, in many other blogs. We love their new home in New Douglas, Illinois and absolutely enjoy spending time with their family. This time was no different!
We munched on wax beans right off of the vine, ate homemade summer squash bread, played with goats, cuddled with kittens and breathed in the clean summer air. We came home with produce, blackberry jam and lots of dirt! As always, I took pictures and thought I'd share some with you! Have a happy August weekend!
