First of all, some of you have tried calling or emailing without getting a reply from me over the past few days. I am quite sorry. I've been in the hospital after a trip to the ER on Friday. I'll fill you in on details later, as I am just now sitting down (it's Sunday night) after being discharged and getting the kids fed and in bed.
Earlier this month I mentioned my frustrations with the TSA and it's "pat-down" searches that are being used on children. I received many replies and most of them were very encouraging about personal experiences; however, even after the TSA claimed it would eliminate the pat-downs on children under the age of 12, people have continued to witness the practice happening. Click on this link to see a child (obviously quite a bit younger than 12) undergoing a pat-down/ strip-search not because he sounded any alarms, but simply because he was "randomly picked" to receive a complete body pat-down. Again, I am sickened. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XSQTz1bccL4
I hope you all are going to be able to spend your Thanksgiving holiday with loved ones, friends and family! If I am unable to blog beforehand, I just want to tell you all that I am incredibly thankful to count you all as loved ones ... yes, even those of you who don't know us personally, but follow us on the blog. You are all in our prayers!
Have a Happy Gobble Gobble Day!
Until later,
Kathy (limping back to bed, but oh so glad to be home!)
