I am what you might call a "sporadic voter." I definitely have my own opinions of what I feel is right for me, my family and for our country; however, my voting record is a bit shabby. I don't have an excuse ... I just don't vote.
Tomorrow is a different story ... I want to stand in line, behind my fellow conservatives as well as my friends who identify themselves along a more liberal/progressive belief system. I want to be a part of this "new change" that our country so desperately needs. We're in a rut and we need somebody to pull us out. For me, this isn't about a division along party lines ... this is about "We the People" standing up, getting off of our lazy butts and doing something about it.
With that in mind, please remember to vote tomorrow.
This afternoon I came across a hilarious short commercial that I wanted to share with you. Enjoy ... then go vote!
(Just click on the "play" button on the bottom left-hand side of the video window if the screen shows more than one video choice.)
Until Tomorrow,
Kathy
P.S. Some of you have asked how things are going medically. I had chemo today. I was expecting bad news because the severe pain in my left leg and lower back has returned. My oncologosit surprised me with good news! My CA-125 has dropped from in the 100's down to an 80! This is a good thing! Although we need that number down below 20, it is heading in the right direction after a few months of tumor growth!
I also have pics to post of the kids, but will try to do that tomorrow after I return from Siteman. I have to get my Neulasta shot to keep my blood numbers in line. I'll be out of commission for a few days afterwards because of the illness I experience after the shot. Leave a message on my home phone or on email. I promise to get back with you as soon as possible! Love to you all!
