Choices

I was reading a fellow mother's blog this morning and wanted to share it with you. "RK" has a daughter just a smidgen younger than my Allie. We met a few months ago at the Down Syndrome Clinic at St. Louis Children's Hospital. I've enjoyed following her musings at http://justrk.blogspot.com/. Her daughter, Braska, also has her own blog that you should take a look at ... she's such a cutie-patootie! http://braskabear.blogspot.com/

Anyway, "RK" has blogged today about her ponderings on our freedom of choice. It's definitely worth your time to consider her thoughts.

I am unabashedly a supporter of the pro-life movement and I make no apologies for standing up and speaking out. "Speak up for those who can't speak for themselves ..."Proverbs 31:8

Today marks a very sad day in the history of our nation ... the anniversary of Roe v. Wade ... so many innocent lives lost. Did we kill the child sent to cure cancer? Did we kill the child who would save your life? Did we kill the next Martin Luther King? God Bless those who can't speak for themselves.

Until Tomorrow,
Kathy

I'm honored that you linked to the post. It was so strong in my heart to say *something* and I feared alienating so many of my blog readers in doing so. But it's about the little ones, not my pride, and I am encouraged that you appreciated it. Thank you!
