Tomorrow begins a new part of my journey in life. Oddly enough, the fear and trepidation I am experiencing now exceeds what I felt before my radical hysterectomy just 5 short weeks ago. A dear family friend, Mom Picker, is taking me to the hospital at 5am tomorrow morning for my surgery. I will be having a power port placed just below my collar bone. After the surgery I will go for my first round of chemotherapy.
So many people have included me in their prayers, and for that I am grateful. My hope is that, by God's Grace, I will overcome this obstacle in my life and be able to return all of the favors, good deeds and prayers you all have given to me. Thank you.
