He Says I'm Stable?!?!?! HA! HA! HA!

This post will be brief, but as promised to those of you who have been inquiring about my latest medical tests.

I went to my gyne/oncologist today. I guess the good news is that I'm not getting worse. He used the word "stable" to explain the current status of my cancer. Now, I've never been referred to as "stable" ... but I suppose I'll take it this time around! My CA-125 is "inching down" which translates to, "It's moving slowly, slower than than we want it to, but at least it's going in the right direction." The CT scan showed no increased tumor growth. So, halfway through this protocol/round of chemotherapy I'm about where I was when I started. I'll do chemo Thursday and Friday of this week as planned.

Pretty boring update, huh? I'm grateful that it's not horrid news (as I had a sick feeling it was going to be.) The good news is that I have tomorrow!

Until Then,
Kathy ... the Optimistic Pessimist (or maybe I'm a pessimistic optimist?)
