I happened across a really neat website this morning that I thought I'd share with ya'll. I love factoids. I love learning new and weird words. I love filling my little pea-brain with useless information. Now I have a home on the web where I can feed my need for info. Check it out!

I already knew that the fear of words was logophobia, but what I didn't know was the phobia of long words .... hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia. Kinda funny, eh?
The site has a variety of subjects. One is a "kids only" section with fun facts for those lovely little stinkers in your life. Isaac's favorite fact was that potato chips (crisps) were invented by a man named George Crum in 1853. Anita discovered that moths aren't actually attracted to the light, but to the blackest point which is behind the light.
So, when the rain starts later today, and the kids are all quietly reading as the babies sleep (ya, right!), I'll be sitting here learning new stuff to clutter my brain! Hope to see ya there!
Until Tomorrow,
Kathy
